As a member of the Physicians Advisory Council®, your opinions will:
- Influence future legislation and governmental policies
- Influence the policies and practices of insurance companies and HMOs
- Help medical companies develop new medical equipment and devices
When you join the Physicians Advisory Council®, you have the opportunity to express your opinions, give your advice, argue your points of view, and share your knowledge. Also, you will learn new information through your participation—information that will help you stay abreast of new developments, scientific discoveries, new drugs, and new treatment methods. And, since members have access to Physician Poll results, you will also learn your colleagues' opinions.
Earn honorariums three ways:
- By completing a screener: You'll receive periodic email invitations to qualify for online surveys and interviews. Every time you complete a screener (a very brief questionnaire that helps us determine whether you qualify for a specific survey) your name is entered into a drawing for cash awards, whether or not you are selected to participate in the survey. - By participating in an online survey or discussion: You will receive an honorarium for every online survey you complete. The amount depends on the length of the online survey or interview, and ranges from a minimum of $25 U.S. to $200 U.S. or more.
- By simply being a member of the Physicians Advisory Council®: Your name and address will be entered in a monthly drawing for $250 in cash prizes.
- Physicians in the state of Minnesota: are prohibited from receiving gifts valued at over $50 per calendar year from drug manufacturers and distributors.
Your privacy is guaranteed.
Your opinions, information and advice are strictly confidential and anonymous. Your individual answers will never be revealed to anyone without your explicit permission. Your answers will be combined with the answers of other physicians, and reported as statistical summaries.
Your participation in the Physicians Advisory Council® will be for legitimate research purposes only. We will never try to promote any product under the guise of a survey. We will never try to sell you anything. Your name, address and email will never be sold to another company. No advertising will be permitted on the Physicians Advisory Council® website, unless we are paying you to evaluate an advertisement.
